Churchville: At St. John the Evangelist, Fr. Jason Patterson has written an essay entitled "Ordaining Women as Deacons: A Reappraisal of the Anglican Mission in America's Policy," which can be read on St. John's website, www.stjeac.org. Fr. Patterson's paper is a serious and scholarly work based on Scripture and Tradition, and is an affirmation of holy orders as our Lord and His apostles intended them.
Rosemont: "The Friends of Philly" and the Anglican Fellowship of the Delaware Valley will host a Mass, lunch and meeting of orthodox Anglican and Episcopal clergy serving the Philadelphia metropolis on Tuesday, September 12, at the Church of the Good Shepherd. Mass will be at noon. Lunch will be provided. RSVP at 610-525-7070.

Belleville: At the Forward in Faith Assembly, Fr. David Sprunk and his wife Edna represented the Diocese of the Holy Cross. Fr. Sprunk is an assistant priest at St. Peter's, Houston. The Declaration of Full Communion between the Diocese and FiF/NA was adopted by the Assembly on Friday, August 25. The Declaration had already been approved by the Diocesan Synod in February.
Texas
Houston: From St. Peter's, Fr. David Sprunk sent in the website for "Find an Anglican Church," showing the locations of various Anglican Churches: http://www.greaterdanburyanglicans.org/AMiAChurches/AMiAChurches.html?ShowAll. It takes a little time for the entire map to load. There is a place to click to enter your parish. To date, 428 parishes are listed, although several jurisdictions, including ours, have only one or two listings. Do please consider sending yours in. Clicking on a church site (marked by a cross, color coded according to jurisdiction) shows details of the church. When the map is completed, it will be interesting to see patterns in the locations of jurisdictions.
