Houston: At St. Peter's, the Bishop's most recent visit was from 19-21 August. St. Peter's has a lovely new church and parish hall, completely paid for and strategically located near an interchange on an expressway in northwest Houston. The founding bishop of the Diocese, the Rt. Rev. S. Patrick Murphy, SSC, is the Rector, assisted by Fr. David Sprunk and Fr. Hampton Mabry. The congregation is lively, warm and gracious, a real family in the Household of Faith. Anyone going there for the first time will be glad he did. Fort Worth: The Province of the America's Synod of the Society of the Holy Cross (SSC) will be held from 19-21 September at St. Vincent's Cathedral. A good number of our priests are in the SSC and will be attending. The SSC is an institute for priests who keep a rule of life, founded in London in 1855 and now numbering perhaps over 1,000 throughout the world. The SSC also has priests in the Free Synod of the Church of Sweden. Maryland

Indianapolis: The Anglican Guild of Scholars will meet from 25-26 October at the Cathedral of St. Edward the Confessor. Papers will be presented by the Archbishop of the Anglican Catholic Church, the Most Rev. Mark Haverland, and by Fr. Richard Bowyer, Deacon Byron Purvis, Prof. Rosamond Kent Sprague, Dr. Gerlach, the Rev. Canon Kenneth Gunn Walberg, and Bishop Hewett, whose paper is entitled, "Our Anglican Patrimony: the Vocation of Anglicanism." Pennsylvania
Rosemont: The Anglican Fellowship of the Delaware Valley will host a Mass, lunch and meeting of orthodox Anglican and Episcopal clergy serving the Philadelphia metropolis on Wednesday, November 8, at the Church of the Good Shepherd. London: Forward in Faith United Kingdom's annual Assembly will be held from 6-7 October at the Emmanuel Center near Westminster Abbey. The book Consecrated Women, edited by Jonathan Baker, is FiF/UK's rationale for the apostolic ministry and the actual full-length proposal for the third province.
