Colorado Springs: St. Luke's Church hosted an informal meeting of clergy on August 18 to worship together, have some fellowship, and brainstorm about the complex and creative situation in which we find ourselves. Clergy from the Anglican Church in America, the Diocese of the Holy Cross, Forward in Faith, and the Province of Christ the King were in attendance.

Phoenixville: On August 18, Almighty God opened to my mother, Annagrace Carlson Hewett, the gates of larger life. May He receive her more and more into His joyful service, that she may win, with Him and His servants everywhere, the eternal victory, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

On August 23, at the Church of the Transfiguration, the Very Rev. Craig E. Young, SSC (Pro-Cathedral of the Epiphany, Columbia, SC) read the Burial Office and gave the Homily; the Rev. Canon Robert Bader, SSC (Church of the Advent, Greenwich, CT) celebrated the Requiem Mass; and the Rev. Dr. David A. Ousley, SSC (St. Michael the Archangel, Bala Cynwyd, PA) read the Absolution of the Body. The Rev. John W. Richards, Jr. was the Deacon of the Mass, and the Rev. Peter A. Geromel (both of Transfiguration, Phoenixville) was the Subdeacon. The Rev. David A. S. Hoare (St. John the Baptist, Marshall, VA) read a Lesson. In Procession were the Rev. Dr. Raleigh H. Watson (St. MIchael the Archangel, Winchester, VA), the Rev. Thomas Monnat (Church of the Atonement, Morton, PA) and the Rev. Gerry Jones. May I take this opportunity to thank all those who attended or sent cards, gifts and flowers. Your sympathy and prayers have been most appreciated.
