Virginia
Marshall: Let us remember Father David Hoare, the Rector of St. John the Baptist, in our prayers as he recovers from heart surgery in Gibraltar.

Winchester: At St. Michael the Archangel, the Rt. Rev. Goran Beijer and Bishop Hewett will visit on Monday, February 12, for 6:45 pm Short Evening Prayer and 7 pm Mass, followed by a presentation by Bishop Beijer.
Sweden
Stockholm: The Rt. Rev. Goran Beijer, one of the bishops of the Mission Province in Sweden and Vicar of the St. Stephen's koinonia in Stockholm, continues his tour of the U.S. Originally from Visby in Gottland, where his father was a priest, Bishop Beijer received his theological degree from the University of Uppsala. The Middle Eastern Council of Churches sponsored his year-long stay in Beirut, Lebanon, to study the Eastern Churches. Most recently, he served as Vicar of St. James in the center of Stockholm.

The Mission Province in Sweden is the equivalent of our continuing churches. It is being helped by the Missouri Synod and by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenya. There are close ties with the Nordic Catholic Church in Norway and an affiliation, like ours, with Forward in Faith/UK.
Connecticut
Greenwich: Bishop Goran visited Canon Robert Bader at the Church of the Advent.
Pennsylvania
Phoenixville: On Sunday, February 11, Bishop Goran Beijer will preach at the 10:30 am Mass at Church of the Transfiguration.

Rosemont: The next meeting of the Anglican Fellowship of the Delaware Valley will be on Wednesday, February 14, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, beginning with Mass at 12 noon, followed by lunch (brown bag) and discussion. Bishop Goran Beijer will be with us.

God willing, Peter Anthony Geromel will be ordained to the Priesthood on Ember Saturday in Lent, March 3, at 10 am at the Church of the Transfiguration, 51 Columbia Ave., Phoenixville, PA 19460. Clergy -- white stoles.

A Training Manual for Permanent Deacons is now ready for distribution. A copy may be had by e-mailing afdv1@yahoo.com. At this time, the Training Manual exists only as a hard copy for snail mail.

Wynnewood:The fourth annual Altar Boys' Retreat will be from Friday evening, March 9, to Saturday evening, March 10, at All Saints', Wynnewood, PA. For more information, contact Deacon Peter at 610-937-4188 (cell) or cuculain@aol.com.

Illinois
Belleville: The Forward in Faith/North America Council met February 6-8 at Our Lady of the Snows Shrine. The Rt. Rev. Keith L. Ackerman, SSC, presiding. The annual Assembly will meet there from June 14-16. The Rt. Rev. John Broadhurst, Bishop of Fulham and President of FiF International, and the Rev. Geoffrey Kirk, Secretary, will be present.
